Word of God in the Heart

In Dungeons and Dragons you have to self-identify as good, evil, or neutral (either good or evil depending on the situation and how you feel.)  This is known as orderly or chaotic or amoral (to paraphrase.)  In real life it is best to follow Jesus Christ, to follow the Bible, to do only good and not evil.

You will reap what you sow.

We all have some self-correcting to do.  It’s like a rock that needs to be cut in order to be a part of God’s Temple.  The rock, when it first comes in, is rough.  It is made smooth by the builder.  That is the part of life when you abandon negative traits, negative behaviors, and embrace God’s existence, and fear God.  You do God’s will.

You memorize and study the Word of God, the Bible, because what is in the head needs (eventually) to go to the heart, to go to the center of who you are.  Then it can transform your life, as the Holy Spirit comes into your life and tells you what God wants you to do.  This is a process that goes through both waking and dream selves, both while awake and asleep.

So you memorize those parts of the Bible that are truly transformative.  You read Christian books.  You let go of the books that promote some spirit other than God.  You give those books to the library.  You do not build up treasure on this earth.  Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”

You need to seek God with all your heart.  Then you will find God.  To follow anything else is self-destruction.  Allow being a Christian to transform all of your life, both while waking and asleep, then the soul gets involved and God gets involved in your life.

I like the Copelands and their ministry in Fort Worth Texas.  Look for popular Christian ministries and you will find more information about them.  Kenneth and Gloria Copeland and their family.

I also like the ministry of Shelley Lubben in California.  www.shelleylubben.com

By reputation I have heard of the ministry of Champions Center, in Tacoma Washington.  I am all in favor of what they have to say, though I have never visited their church.

By definition a fool knows not at what he stumbles.  It’s like a wicked man, a fool, is stumbling, but he is blind because he cannot or will not see the light, and so he stumbles.  He is in the act of stumbling, and that is his foolishness, his wickedness.  If you recognize yourself as a fool, then you see the evil you have done, and you know you have need of Jesus Christ, and Jesus Christ alone.  Then you go through your possessions and simplify your life.  You don’t need to be reading 10 different books if the Bible is where it’s at.

The wicked “sleep not, unless they have caused evil.”  In other words, they are the opposite of the good man.  A fool, on the other hand, may think that what he’s doing is OK in his own eyes.  But there are connections between the definition of a fool and the definition of a wicked man.  “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.”  Memorize the Proverbs.  Let the Wisdom of God not depart from your sight.  Study it day and night.
